Graphite fiber and nitrile rubber adhesive

Type 9900 gaskets are made of graphite fiber and nitrile rubber adhesive to withstand extreme conditions. This high temperature gasket has passed the Garlock® fire resistance test and is approved as ABS fire safe.

* Recommended minimum assembly stress = 4,800 psi. Preferred assembly stress = 6,000-10,000 psi. It is highly recommended to use a 1/16 "shim thickness. Retighten the bolts / studs before applying pressure to the system. For saturated steam above 150 psig, consult Garlock® Engineering.
